Mushroom (named for his similarity to a little black truffle as a baby), was a surprise find at the local train depot! My best friend found him all alone, sitting on the wheel well of a retired boxcar. She brought him over, mewing all the way, and surprised me while I was making breakfast. He is now the most spoiled little panther (he likes his water with ice!), and I've been trying (very slowly) to leash train him on short walks to the coffee shop.
