Our leashes or leads are handmade by professional New England rope-makers who thank you for supporting their trade.

The custom-made rope used for the natural and P.E.T leashes (or leads) is hand-spliced to withstand thousands of pounds of pull and the ends are then "whipped" (an old nautical term) for additional durablility. All of our ropes are U.V. resistant, marine-grade, all-weather rope and are hand or machine washable. 

More than 8,000 tons of P.E.T. bottles are removed from the environment on an annual basis. Our super soft black and white ropes are made from 100% recycled P.E.T.
